Fem Ceramic Atelier: Journey Beginning in Clay

Fem Ceramic Atelier is more than just a brand to me; it's one of the first steps I took for myself. It all began during a period when I wanted to step away from the pace of corporate life and breathe again. The pandemic process led me to clay, to ceramics. At first, it was an experiment, a curiosity; but it soon became a quiet expression of my inner world.

Ceramics taught me to slow down, be patient, and stay in the moment. The transformation that occurs when the texture of the earth, the rhythm of water, and the power of fire come together never ceases to amaze me. After completing my training in this process, I wanted to create a tangible expression of this passion by founding Fem Ceramic Atelier in Istanbul in 2022.

In my studio, I love creating simple yet powerful forms inspired by nature. Each piece, shaped with earthy and nude tones, represents a quiet balance for me. Sometimes in a cube form, sometimes in a bowl, sometimes in a detail; I find a part of myself in every piece.

Fem Ceramic Atelier has also become a space for sharing. Sharing this experience with people who are interested in ceramics and seeing the tranquility they experience when they touch the clay makes me very happy.

Fem Ceramic is not just about creating; it is a way to get to know yourself, slow down, and remember the beauty of simplicity.

I believe that touching the mud is actually touching yourself.
